Avipattikar Churna
Introduction :
A potent antacid enriched with Triphala, Trikatu, Trivrt and other powerful digestive herbs, this renowned therapeutic preparation stimulates digestion and metabolism and alleviates hyperacidity. Avipattikar Churna is an excellent remedy for acidity and its allied complications, such as loss of appetite, headache, nausea and vomiting.
This classical churna consists of fourteen ingredients viz., Zingiber officinale, Piper nigrum, Piper longum, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellirica, Embelica officinalis, Cyperus rotundus, salt (vida lavana), Embelia ribes, Elettaria cardamomum, Cinnamomum tamala, Syzgium aromaticum, Operculina terpethum and Saccharum officinarum.1
Actions :
Avipatttikar Churna possesses significant gastroprotective and anti-ulcer activities.2 The gastroprotective activity could be mediated through its antioxidant activity, vasodilatation and gastric cytoprotection effects.3

Direction for use:
