Chalmogra Oil
Useful for Chronic Skin Disorders
Introduction :
Chalmogra Oil, obtained from Hydnocarpus wightiana, is an extremely useful oil for the treatment of chronic skin disorders. The main active ingredient Hydnocarpic Acid is primarily responsible for its antimicrobial activity. This oil used to be the principle medication for Leprosy at one point of time.
Actions :
Chalmogra Oil:
- Possesses significant antimicrobial action
- Accelerates the process of wound healing
Indications :
Chalmogra Oil is extremely useful in accelerating the process of wound healing, more so in Diabetic individuals. It is also useful as an adjuvant in the treatment of wounds and ulcers of Leprosy.
This oil is useful in all types of chronic skin disorders.
Direction for use:
Apply Chalmogra Oil over pre-cleaned affected area 2-3 times a day till the desired effect is obtained or complete healing takes place.
